JAILHOUSE EROS (1990)

Here's a trailer for Jailhouse Eros (1990), one of my favorite Amy Yip movies, and what I always saw as a perfect example of just how goofy these Hong Kong movies can be made. Is it a comedy? A horror story? A Women in prison movie? Yes!

In the trailer you get to see Amy's character ('Chesty') get a mouthful of her uniform bit off, and her shower scene! Loletta Lee also stars as the young ghost who died trying to escape many years ago.

One of the prisoners gets possessed by the ghost and goes on a rampage in the shower! Hey, if you're going to do a Women In Prison movie AND a horror film, this sound's like really good logic to me!

Former Beauty Queen Ha Chi-Chun would go on to have a decent career in Hong Kong Movies (26 films) and here plays 'Rough Prison Guard' who comes back as the vengeful ghost.... a creepy looking vengeful ghost! She also played the nosey neighbor in 'Erotic Ghost Story'.

And Loletta Lee as the nice ghost, a girl who died trying to escape years ago. Loletta would go on to do some surprising nudity in 'Crazy Love (The Fruit is Ripe)', 'Girls Unbutton', and Sex & Zen II just a few years later!
